Bluefaced Leicester takes dyes beautifully so the colors are vibrant. Bluefaced Leicester is a longwool breed with a staple length of 3-6 inches and micron count of 24-28. Bluefaced Leicester combed top is great for beginner or more experienced spinners.

While Merino is slightly finer, Bluefaced Leicester is a 'luster' breed so the fleece has a beautiful sheen and is very soft and comfortable to wear against the skin.
