85 % Bluefaced Leicester wool and 15% Tussah Silk Combed Top Spinning Fiber

Spinners will appreciate Bluefaced Leicester's softness and its ability to produce high-quality semi-luster yarns with a beautiful drape. Bluefaced Leicester takes dyes beautifully so the colors are vibrant. Bluefaced Leicester is a longwool breed with a staple length of 3-6 inches and micron count of 24-28. Bluefaced Leicester combed top is great for beginner or more experienced spinners.

While Merino is slightly finer, Bluefaced Leicester is a 'lustre' breed so the fleece has a beautiful sheen. Bluefaced Leicester is very soft and comfortable to wear against the skin. This exceptional fiber is blended with tussah silk, providing a subtle luxurious sheen to elevate your fiber art projects.
